Job summary

Neueda is seeking a qualified or nearly qualified accountant to join our growing finance team in the UK. The role focuses on owning core transactional processes and driving automation to evolve finance from processing to business partnering.

You will work with the Financial Controller, support month-end close, budgeting, and internal controls while enabling continuous improvement and automation across finance systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
• Experience preparing management accounts in a controlled finance environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial mindset.
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical capability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review client invoicing in line with contractual agreements.
• Support VAT returns and statutory filings.
• Oversee the day-to-day workload of the Finance Intern.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contribute to the year-end close and audit process.
• Strengthen and maintain financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Partner with the Financial Controller to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements across finance processes.
