Job summary

Wills Consultants is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Technician for a high-profile automated distribution site in Sheffield. You will handle day‑to‑day maintenance on site automation equipment, support troubleshooting, and carry out audits to OEM standards while following health and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ/C&G/BTEC L2+ in Engineering or have 5 years’ relevant experience; experience with conveyors, cranes or sortation is desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G/BTEC L2+ in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience with site automation equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work safely at height and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day site automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per OEM standards and legislation.
• Assist with breakdowns as part of a team of engineers.
