What you’ll do

  1. Perform inspections on systems associated with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, robotic vehicles, and adapters/lifts.
  2. Lead continuous operation by adjusting, calibrating, repairing, replacing, or modifying system components.
  3. Monitor the flow of the automated storage and retrieval system to maximize throughput.
  4. Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages using schematics and test equipment.
  5. Document all actions and repairs thoroughly in the CMMS.
  6. Communicate production-impacting problems and suggested actions to the team.
  7. Work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt as needed.
  8. Cleanup equipment and remove replaced parts after repairs.
  9. Recover automated robotic vehicles, including working in restrictive environments.
  10. Perform minor utility work such as machining, cutting steel, and sensor alignment.
  11. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and set up robotic arms.
  12. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to 5S policies.
  13. Perform Cell Operator functions as needed.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

What you’ll need

  • Associate degree and/or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow electro-mechanical diagrams.
