Job description

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer.

You will be required to provide on-site engineering support, liaising with customers, service, and breakdown controllers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a flexible and ‘can do’ approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

As an ambassador for the company, good presentation and communication skills at all levels are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Attend breakdowns on-site, diagnose faults, and carry out rectifications.
2. Perform routine servicing and planned maintenance for all equipment at customer sites.
3. Diagnose, repair, and build generators/engines.
4. Maintain stock levels of parts, ensuring they are always adequate.
5. Allocate used parts to the works mobile tablet and record all jobs promptly.
6. Record potential customer recharges with the Service Controller.
7. Provide backup support in other areas and depots as needed.
8. Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
9. Follow company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
10. Perform any other duties assigned by your manager.

Requirements:
