We are now recruiting for a Pool Automation Maintenance Technician at our Exeter Mail Centre, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 7XX site.
Salary: £51,051 per annum, plus night shift allowance, 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays and a defined contribution pension scheme. A weekend supplement for Saturday (£51 per attendance) and Sunday (£102 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable.

As a Pool Automation Maintenance Technician you will be required to cover an element of sickness and annual leave across the Exeter Mail Centre's shift rotation system, with some degree of voluntary flexibility to meet our 24/7 operational needs on occasion, including voluntary overtime coverage and occasional shift pattern flexibility.
The role will cover early, late and night shifts. A typical rota is below:
Days - Mon 06:00- 15:00 / Tues 07:30 - 16:30 / Wed 07:30 - 15:30 / Thurs and Fri 07:30 - 14:30
Lates - Mon - Fri 14:00 - 22:00
Nights - Mon - Fri 21:30 - 06:15

The Role

Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of automation assets through completion of effective maintenance procedures.

About you
As an experienced multi-skilled engineer you’ll be qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 – or equivalent). Understanding Health & Safety legislation, you’ll have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, along with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
You are required to have a full UK driving licence as on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites.
