Job summary

Select Engineering, a global Tier 1 supplier, is seeking maintenance staff to support new automation projects. You will respond to production equipment breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and support weekend project activities to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires qualifications in engineering (HNC/HND) and experience with electrical and mechanical production equipment, LOTO, and PLC systems (Siemens S7 or Allen-Bradley). Weekend shifts: Sat, Sun and Mon 06:00–18:00.

Qualifications

HNC/HND in engineering required.
Experience with electrical and mechanical production equipment.
LOTO competence and electrical safety awareness.
Knowledge of Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLC preferred.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations advantageous.
IOSH Managing Safely advantageous.

Responsibilities

Respond to production equipment breakdowns and resolve them.
Complete maintenance tasks including PMs, stock ordering, audits, investigations and fault reports.
Maintain End of Shift 5S standards and end-of-shift clean down.
Identify breakdown or PM report trends and take necessary actions.
Engage in root cause analysis of repeat/major breakdowns.
Complete weekend work list.
Manage electrical and mechanical installation of new machinery.
Support Electrical Duty Holder with system management and compliance.
