Job summary

Baxter Thetford is seeking a qualified Multi-skilled Automation & Maintenance Engineer to join our Operational Maintenance Engineering team. You will perform plant-wide reactive and proactive maintenance and support new installations and engineering projects across site.

You will work rotating shifts Monday–Sunday, 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00 with overtime at premium rates. The starting salary is £55,166.49 per annum.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering

Responsibilities

• Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
• Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
• Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
• Advance issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
• Identify areas for improvement across site.
• Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP
