Job summary

Baxter Healthcare Ltd. in Thetford is seeking a Multi-skilled Automation Bias Maintenance Engineer to join the Operational Maintenance Engineering team. You will perform plant-wide reactive and proactive maintenance and support new installations across site.

The role offers rotating shifts 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 with overtime at premium, excellent benefits, and real opportunities for progression within a purpose-driven company.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• High degree of competency in electrical fault finding, schematics wiring and circuitry.
• Electrical knowledge, PLC (Allen Bradley experience & high level fault finding).
• Experience with control panels, automation and robotics.
• Good level knowledge of electrical safety, CCT and controllers.
• Good level mechanical knowledge and overall engineering understanding in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
• Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
• Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
• Advance issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
• Identify areas for improvement across site.
• Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP.
