Job summary

A leading logistics automation firm in Wednesbury is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficiency and safety of automated systems. The successful candidate will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support improvement projects. This full-time role offers a base salary of £45,000–£55,000 along with excellent training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an automated warehouse or fast-paced distribution environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Confident working in a shift-based engineering team with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Complete PPMs and keep maintenance systems updated.
