Job summary

Brazen Search in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with a salary of £56,000 per year.

You will maintain production machinery, carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance, fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems, and contribute to continuous improvement with the engineering team. PLC/automation experience would be advantageous, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi-Skilled or Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Experience with PM schedules, breakdown maintenance and fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Fault-find on motors, drives, conveyors and control systems.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems and safety circuits.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
