Job description

What is the opportunity

This is a rewarding role for a highly technical lead passionate about transforming manual tests, tasks, and processes into automation scripts that can be executed on demand.

You will help reduce manual execution time and costs across various projects and programs within the factory.

Gain exposure to a variety of systems and applications within the Corporate & Commercial banking sector. Apply your creativity to solve technical challenges and develop innovative solutions!

In this role you will:
  • Create automation strategies and plans for assigned projects with a focus on Return on Investment.
  • Encourage a shift from traditional manual methods by engaging in constructive dialogue with collaborators and fostering a mindset change.
  • Manage the building of CI/CD pipelines or integrate automation into existing pipelines.
  • Conduct code reviews adhering to the bank's coding standards and frameworks.
  • Be hands-on in coding, scripting, and reporting tasks.
What will make you stand out?

You are a motivated leader with a positive attitude, fully committed to delivery, and possess over 7 years of experience in automation. You have a proven track record of fostering a positive and constructive environment.

Experience in Banking or Financial Services is essential. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Capital Markets, Market and Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting systems.

You are highly skilled in automation programming languages (Java, Python) and familiar with frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium, and Karate.

You have developed automation scripts related to data operations and have automated interfaces and integrations between systems.

Further Technical Knowledge Required:
  • Knowledge of databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Extensive experience with Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Selenium, UFT, and BrowserStack.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
