What is the opportunity

This is a rewarding role for a highly technical lead passionate about transforming manual tests, tasks, and processes into automation scripts that can be executed on demand.

You will help reduce manual execution time and costs across various projects and programs within the factory.

Gain exposure to a variety of systems and applications within the Corporate & Commercial banking sector. Apply your creativity to solve technical challenges and develop innovative solutions!

In this role, you will:

1. Create automation strategies and plans for assigned projects, focusing on Return on Investment.
2. Challenge traditional manual approaches through constructive dialogue, encouraging a mindset shift among collaborators.
3. Manage the building of CI/CD pipelines or integrate automation into existing pipelines.
4. Conduct code reviews aligned with the bank's standards.
5. Be hands-on in coding, scripting, and reporting tasks.

What will make you stand out?

You are a motivated leader with a positive attitude, a 100% delivery focus, and over 7 years of experience in automation. You foster a positive, constructive environment.

Experience in Banking or Financial Services is essential, with preference for those familiar with Capital Markets, Market & Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting systems.

You are highly proficient in automation programming languages like Java and Python, with a strong understanding of frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium, and Karate.

You have developed automation scripts for data operations and automated interfaces between systems.

Further Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, and Python.
• Extensive experience with Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Selenium, UFT, and BrowserStack.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

About the team

The Engineering & Delivery team builds, tests, and implements key systems serving both internal and external clients. They collaborate closely with Change and Technology Services teams.
