Job description

What is the opportunity

This is a rewarding role for a highly technical lead passionate about transforming manual tests, tasks, and processes into automation scripts that can be executed on demand.

You will help reduce manual execution time and costs across various projects and programs within the factory.

Gain exposure to a variety of systems and applications within the Corporate & Commercial banking realm. Apply your creativity to solve technical challenges and develop innovative solutions!

In this role you will:
  1. Create automation strategies and plans for assigned projects/programs, focusing on Return on Investment.
  2. Challenge traditional manual approaches by engaging in constructive dialogues with collaborators and promoting mindset change.
  3. Manage CI/CD pipelines or embed automation within existing pipelines.
  4. Conduct code reviews following the bank's coding and framework standards.
  5. Be hands-on with coding, scripting, and reporting, actively participating in automation development.
What will make you stand out?

You are a highly motivated leader with a positive attitude, 100% delivery-focused, with over 7 years of experience in automation. You foster a positive, constructive environment.

Experience in Banking or Financial Services is essential. Preference for candidates experienced with systems related to Capital Markets, Market & Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting.

You are proficient in automation programming languages such as Java and Python, with a strong understanding of frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium, and Karate.

You have developed automation scripts for data handling and integrated various system interfaces and points.

Further Technical Knowledge Required:
  • Good knowledge of databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Extensive experience with Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Selenium, UFT, and BrowserStack.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
