Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a technically minded Internal Sales professional for an Automation portfolio in Redditch. The role blends technical support with sales enablement, and offers a clear development path towards External Sales and a Business Development Manager position.

You'll handle enquiries, tailor solutions, prepare quotations and work closely with customers and product specialists.

Qualifications

Technical background in electrical, automation or industrial engineering.
Good understanding of electrical/technical products.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Commercially minded with an interest in developing a sales career.
Organised, proactive and confident dealing with customers.
Keen to progress into an external sales / Business Development role.

Responsibilities

Handle technical and commercial customer enquiries.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Prepare quotations and support the sales process.
Provide technical support across electrical and automation products.
Work closely with customers, external sales and product specialists.
Build product and industry knowledge with a view to progressing into external sales/BDM.
