WR Engineering is seeking an External Sales Engineer to cover Stockport and surrounding areas. You will develop new business opportunities, deliver technical solutions, and build long-term customer partnerships within industrial automation and control.

The role combines strong product knowledge with proactive selling, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. Offering a competitive salary circa 50-55k plus company car, pension, laptop and mobile, with clear career prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales role within the Industrial Automation and Control industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation and control products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• A results-driven, customer-focused approach.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
