Job summary

Nestlé is offering a 12-month Engineering Placement Scheme in electrical, automation or digitalisation. You will rotate across UK factory sites, focusing on maintenance and project engineering, working with state-of-the-art technology and contributing to operational improvements.

You will develop engineering knowledge through diverse projects, collaborate with a cross-functional team, and gain exposure to digital transformation initiatives, energy and water efficiency, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of university studying Electrical Engineering, Digitalisation Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
• Must be mobile across the UK.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route at the start or on completion.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across maintenance and project engineering in a manufacturing setting.
• Collaborate with skilled engineers and work with state-of-the-art technology, processes and equipment.
• Support the factory teams' initiatives to improve operational efficiencies.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and KPI optimisation (output, energy, water, compliance).
• Rotate through different role placements across UK sites.
