Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of control, automation and electrical projects across the energy and industrial sectors in the UK.

The role covers design through commissioning, with office/site-based work and travel to client sites. You will work on PLC/SCADA systems and review electrical drawings, coordinating installation and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project engineering across design, installation and commissioning.
• Experience with PLC and/or SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Support PLC, SCADA and control system design and integration.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Coordinate engineering, installation and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support FAT/SAT, site testing and commissioning.
• Manage technical issues throughout project delivery.
