Baxter Thetford is hiring a Process Operator for Line 7 on the automated line. The role involves rotating shifts, 42 hours per week, with a training salary of £27,758.64 and a weekly shift allowance of £109.86. Benefits include 25 days leave, pension, health cover, and progression opportunities.

You will maintain line performance, perform cleaning, support improvements, and ensure GMP/EHS compliance. English fluency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP environments (pharma/food/FMCG).
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Team-based with willingness to share workload.
• High standards of behaviour and workload management.
• Flexible to varied tasks and hours; quick adaptation.
• English comprehension and written/spoken ability.
• Well organised and task driven.
• Forklift experience advantageous; machine setup experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain line performance by adjusting machinery within validated parameters.
• Conduct daily/weekly cleaning of equipment and area.
• Support improvement programs and adopt new ways of working.
• Identify quality defects, reject faulty items and escalate issues.
• Assist in rectifying issues as they arise.
• Follow EHS/GMP/GDP policies and external regulations.
• Operate per Baxter documentation (BaxU) and ensure timely batch paperwork.
