Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Daventry is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain plant and machinery in a fast-paced, automated production environment. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns and contribute to continuous improvement across assembly, testing and production areas.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, with experience in manufacturing maintenance, PLCs (Siemens S7) and robotics

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response.
• Experience fault finding on automated production machinery and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults systematically and implement effective repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on automated production lines, machinery, test cells and assembly equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and minimising production downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to prevent recurring faults and improve reliability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Work with production teams to prioritise maintenance requirements and support operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure spare parts are identified and requisitioned when required.
• Support the development and training of colleagues within the maintenance team.
