Job summary

YEOMANS LTD in the UK invites applications for a Service Technician/Mechanic apprentice programme. You will gain hands-on experience across traditional, hybrid and electric vehicles while earning a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Autocare Technician.

Training combines virtual classroom learning with face-to-face weeks at our training centre, with travel to the Honda Institute in Bracknell. All costs are covered and a mentor guides your development to qualification on completion.

Qualifications

• Training will be delivered via a mix of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face weeks.
• Successful applicants must travel to the Honda Institute, Bracknell, for apprenticeship training.
• Training costs, including travel, accommodation and meals, are fully covered.
• A dedicated mentor will support continued learning during the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Test parts and systems to ensure correct functioning.
• Follow checklists to inspect all critical parts.
• Carry out bumper-to-bumper service and inspection.
• Maintain electronic systems including on-board entertainment.
• Complete legible paperwork for customers and centre records.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
