Job summary

Halfords Kings Lynn is offering an Autocare Technician Apprenticeship. You will learn through a mix of block release weeks at a state-of-the-art training centre and remote learning, gaining Level 2 Autocare Technician qualification and brand certifications.

You’ll travel to a central training facility, with costs covered, and receive mentorship in the garage as you progress toward a Level 3 progression. This apprenticeship includes a full Halfords toolkit, uniform and boots, and a structured

Responsibilities

• Use of diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
• Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working
• Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined
• Carrying out bumper to bumper overview, service, and inspection
• Maintenance of electronic systems including on‑board entertainment systems
• Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for customers and centre records
• Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment
