Job summary

Halfords in the United Kingdom offers an Autocare Technician Apprentice programme (Level 2). You will gain hands-on experience across MOTs, servicing and repairs, working in a busy Service department while training at our state-of-the-art centre.

You will learn to diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment, follow service checklists and maintain safe, accurate paperwork. The apprenticeship covers traditional, hybrid and electronic engines, with progression towards Level 3 as you grow

Qualifications

• On successful completion, you will gain Level 2 Autocare Technician apprenticeship.
• Brand certifications and hands-on training across MOT, servicing and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Autocare Technicians with diagnostics and fault finding.
• Carry out car servicing and inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete accurate paperwork for customers and centre records.
• Travel to training facility as required.
