The role offers a Monday-Friday, 8:00am-17:00pm schedule with no weekend shifts, a salary of £35,000–£40,000, and generous holiday allowances in a well-equipped facility with advanced diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.
• F-Gas certification is preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, and general mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
• Utilise high-spec diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve faults.
• Deliver high-quality first-time fix results while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Work productively to keep the workshop running smoothly in a well-organised environment.
• Collaborate with fellow mechanics to maintain a friendly, safety-first workshop.

Your Role

Working as a core member of our technical team in Cardiff, you will:

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and servicing tasks. Motivated, dedicated, and highly organized professional with a strong team mindset and keen attention to detail.
