Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician for our client in Woking, Surrey. You will perform advanced diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems and use state-of-the-art equipment to identify faults.

The role offers a salary up to £45,000 per year depending on experience, with a Monday to Friday 8am–5:30pm schedule. Ongoing training and development are provided to support your advancement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician with diagnostics focus.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills and ability to diagnose complex systems.

Duties:

• Conduct high-level diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems and electronic components
• Utilize advanced tools including oscilloscopes, signal analysis, and cam analyzers for fault diagnosis
• Perform electrical system repairs focusing on non-mechanical issues
• Identify and resolve complex electrical faults efficiently, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of repair quality
• Complete diagnostics accurately within designated timeframes
• Maintain detailed records of diagnostics and repairs for quality assurance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Motor Engineer with a focus on diagnostics
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with experience in complex diagnostics
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and related equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to ongoing professional development through relevant training
