Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is assisting a Bournemouth automotive service centre to recruit a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. You will diagnose and repair electrical faults, carry out mechanical repairs, and perform MOT testing where required, across multiple brands with focus on accuracy.

Work in a modern, well-equipped workshop with the latest diagnostic tools. Ongoing training in hybrid and electric vehicle systems is provided, along with a supportive team and clear career development

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Willingness to undertake additional training in hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and electrical fault-finding tasks.
• Carry out MOT testing (MOT tester qualification preferred).
• Diagnose complex vehicle issues across a variety of brands, specialising in certain vehicle makes.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards within set timeframes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work undertaken.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
