Job summary

Sherwood Foundation School is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver holistic wellbeing assessments and interventions for autistic children aged 4-19 on a trans-disciplinary team.

You will work under the Wellbeing Lead Practitioner, provide crisis support, coach staff, and contribute to regulation and wellbeing plans, embedding them across the curriculum with confidentiality and sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering holistic wellbeing assessments and interventions for autistic children.
• Ability to manage a caseload within a trans-disciplinary team.
• Strong communication and safeguarding skills; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic wellbeing assessments and interventions under guidance of the Wellbeing Lead Practitioner.
• Manage a caseload and provide support to teaching staff and therapists in various settings.
• Support pupils with wellbeing interventions and crisis support as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Lead by example in applying Self-Reg within daily practice and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support in upkeep and development of specialist rooms, resources, and equipment for wellbeing promotion.
• Assist in writing regulation and wellbeing plans with teachers and therapists, embedding them across the curriculum.
