Job Description:

The position is based in a primary setting in Southwark.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
2. Developing and implementing individualised support plans for pupils with autism.
3. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to meet pupils' needs.
4. Providing training and guidance to staff on supporting pupils with autism.
5. Liaising with external agencies to ensure appropriate support for pupils.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
2. Knowledge of autism and related conditions.
3. Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
