Job summary

Autism East Midlands in Bolsover is seeking 2 Casual Relief Support Workers for our site. You’ll support autistic people with activities they enjoy and help develop independent living skills, with a rolling rota including early, late, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.

No experience is required as full training is provided; we value the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Applicants with care experience, NHS or social care backgrounds are welcome too.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• To ensure high standards of professional care and practice for service users are established and maintained.
• To ensure high standards of cleanliness across the setting, being mindful of IPC measures.
• Adhere to developing positive working relationships with service users, families and team members.
• To familiarise with Autism East Midlands systems and processes in delivering high standards of care and support.
• To ensure all records you maintain are up to date and kept secure and confidential (GDPR).
• To liaise with families, the clinical team and external agencies in a professional manner.
• To further develop understanding of autism and CALM and Positive Behaviour Support.
• To complete all elements of the Care Certificate and mandatory training.
• To access internal IT systems and log incidents on reporting systems.
