Job summary

The National Autistic Society is seeking a Bank Support Worker for Glasgow Outreach. You will help adults with autism by following individual support plans and daily routines, and you may work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

This is a full-time pattern, 37 hours per week, based in Glasgow with DBS checks expected. We offer induction and autism training, annual leave, staff discounts, an Employee Assistance Programme, Headspace mindfulness access, and Blue Light discounts.

Qualifications

• Inspire others with a positive attitude toward supporting vulnerable people.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
