Job summary

The National Autistic Society is seeking a Bank Support Worker at Hoylands House in Barnsley. You will help residents live their best lives by following individual support plans and daily routines.

As a Bank Worker, you can choose shifts, including evenings and weekends. Driving licence preferred. Training and benefits are provided, with safeguarding checks required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Caring and reliable individual to support people with autism.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or passion for helping others welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
• Support life skills and independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation)
