Job summary

HRC Recruitment is seeking an Autism Support Worker to assist adults with autism in their own homes in Lochgelly, Fife. The role is a 2:1 support service with a rota of day shifts and sleepovers, offering £13.45–£14.00 per hour on a temp-to-perm basis.

You will support independent living, encourage activities, provide personal care, and work with a friendly, passionate team to deliver person-centred support.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months UK support work experience.
• Friendly, caring and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting others.
• Driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support adults to live as independently as possible in their own home.
• Encourage hobbies, interests and community activities.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily living tasks.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Build a positive, trusting relationship and promote choice and independence.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
