Job summary

Key Care & Support is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic support worker who drives, to support a 16-year-old girl in Stockport's Offerton area. Gill has autism and requires consistent, regular support for activities and sessions, including visits to trampoline facilities, swimming, baking, dancing and pampering.

You will drive Gill to activities and support her during appointments, with an emphasis on safeguarding, patience, and fostering fun and positive routines in line with her

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of autism and challenging behaviour.
• Must have or capable of obtaining a driving license.
• Reliable, outgoing and patient with a caring approach.
• Able to work in Offerton/Stockport area.

Responsibilities

• Support Gill, a 16-year-old girl with autism, in weekly activities.
• Drive to activities and sessions.
• Provide consistent, patient support with engaging, fun activities.
• Encourage Gill's interests in trampoline, swimming, baking, dancing and pampering.
