Job summary

Key Care & Support in Altrincham is seeking an experienced support worker who enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and can commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week. You must be a driver with your own transport and have excellent communication skills to support a young man with autism and learning disabilities who lives at home with his parents in Bowden.

The role includes planning and preparing meals, joining outings to local parks and shops, and providing care across 24/7 shift patterns (08:00–20:00

Qualifications

• Must have own driving license and reliable transport.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Experience supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a young man with autism and learning disabilities in daily activities.
• Plan and prepare meals including curry dishes.
• Provide transportation to activities and outings.
• Assist with 24/7 shift coverage.
• Promote independence and safe home living.
