Job summary

The Rise School, part of Ambitious about Autism, is seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support autistic pupils aged 4-18. The role offers term-time only hours with 8:00am-4:00pm work days and a salary of £25,258-£25,473 actual per year.

You will work with teachers to deliver personalised learning, foster communication and social development, and promote safeguarding and pupil welfare within a supportive school community in Greater London.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualised support to autistic pupils in the classroom and across the school.
• Support learners to develop communication, independence, social and learning skills.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning.

• Build trusting, respectful relationships with pupils and understand their individual needs.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
