• Experience supporting autistic learners.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualised support to autistic pupils in the classroom and across the school.
• Support learners to develop communication, independence, social and learning skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning.
• Use positive approaches to support behaviour and engagement.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils and understand their needs.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Promote welfare and safeguarding of children at all times.
