Job summary

Woodley School & College is seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at the main site and/or satellite sites in Crosland Moor.

You will support learning and social and emotional needs, working alongside the class teacher. Experience with pupils from diverse backgrounds and strong verbal communication are essential.

All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check; safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.
• Support learning and social and emotional needs alongside the class teacher.
• Ability to relate with children/young people from diverse backgrounds; strong verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff in classroom activities and routines.
• Support pupils with learning, social, and emotional needs in line with curriculum goals.
• Work closely with teachers to monitor pupil progress and behaviour.
