Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Westminster school supporting pupils aged 3.5-11 with autism and additional needs. You will work alongside experienced teachers, help prepare learning materials, and assist with in-class activities.

The role emphasises safeguarding and the pupils' welfare, while helping them build confidence, independence and resilience through tailored, engaging learning experiences. You will monitor progress under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
• GCSE English and Maths (C/4 or above) required.
• Compassionate, patient and motivated to impact young lives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare learning materials and support classroom activities.
• Provide hands on guidance under teacher direction.
