Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an Autism Support Assistant for a secondary school in Newham, East London. The role provides 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, focusing on learning, wellbeing and social skills within a school setting.

You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO, supporting inclusion, progress tracking and safe classroom practice in a term-time, full-time position starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASD or SEN children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, patient and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD.
• Assist with IEPs and classroom activities.
