Job summary

Scottish Autism is recruiting Autism Practitioners (Support Workers) for our Tayside area in Dundee. You will join a dedicated team supporting four women and two men across two services, with a rota including mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

You’ll help individuals live independently, pursue personal goals, and participate in community activities, while building meaningful relationships and promoting wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and enthusiastic Autism Practitioner candidates sought.
• Ability to support autistic individuals to live independently and pursue personal goals.
• Willingness to work a mix of shifts including mornings, day, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and engage in meaningful activities.
• Assist community outings, home independence, social connections and personal goal achievement.
• Build positive relationships, promote wellbeing and empower choices in home and community.
