Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting an Autism Support Assistant for a SEND school in Billingham. You will work across all Key Stages providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEND, including Autism and MLD, while promoting inclusion and high expectations.

The role starts September 2026 (or sooner) with daily rates of £90–£100 depending on experience. Excellent CPD, pension contributions, and a dedicated consultant are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or adults with SEND.
• Ability to work across all key stages and classes.
• Strong interpersonal and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to pupils on progress and achievements.
• Encourage interaction and cooperative work among pupils.
• Establish positive relationships and high expectations in class.
