Job summary

Remedy is seeking a compassionate Autism Support Worker to help students in a Newham secondary school reach their potential.

You'll provide 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, aiding their learning, emotional well-being, and social skills in a school setting. This hands-on role focuses on inclusion, independence, and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASD or SEN children.
• Understanding of how ASD impacts learning/behaviour.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching) desirable.
