Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate, patient, and motivated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? If so, this is your opportunity to join a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Brent, where your expertise will truly make a difference.

We are looking for an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3–5, providing tailored one-on-one or small group support. You will play a vital role in helping learners with autism thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individualised support to students with autism
  2. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  3. Work closely with SENCOs and outside professionals
  4. Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  5. Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment
