Job summary

King Ecgbert School in Sheffield is seeking a Specialist Learning Support Assistant (Autism) to join the Integrated Resource team. You will deliver high quality, personalized interventions and support pupils with autism across settings, within a framework of supervision.

The role requires experience with autism, ability to work with parents and colleagues, strong organisational skills, and the initiative to work independently while contributing to an ambitious Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with autism and related conditions.
• Ability to use knowledge of autism curriculum to support interventions.
• Ability to work with parents, carers and families and build relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues from all subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, personalised interventions in and out of the classroom.
• Support pupils through individual, small group and larger group sessions.
• Build productive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Work under supervision with Integrated Resource Co-Ordinator guidance.
