Job summary

King Ecgbert School is seeking a specialist learning support assistant (autism) to join our integrated resource team and support pupils with autism across lessons and targeted sessions. You will deliver personalised interventions, work within supervision, and help maximise pupil progress in a supportive environment.

The role is permanent, part-time (26 hours per week, term time 39 weeks) with a grade 5 salary range.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with autism.
• Ability to deliver individual and small group interventions.
• Strong communication with parents, carers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, personalised interventions within and outside the classroom.
• Work within an integrated resource framework to maximise pupil progress.
• Support pupils, liaise with families and collaborate with colleagues across subjects.
