Job summary

Kings Ford Academy's Autism Provision seeks a dedicated practitioner to support learning for autistic pupils. You will plan bespoke sessions, tailor teaching to individual needs and collaborate with SENDCo and class teachers to ensure every child can access learning.

• Experience of working with children with autism and additional learning needs.
• Ability to tailor learning to individual strengths, needs and interests.
• Ability to break learning into manageable steps.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver bespoke learning for individual pupils and small groups.
• Collaborate with Autism Provision team, SENDCo and class teachers.
• Develop personalised approaches to enable access to learning.
• Support pupils to develop independence, communication, social understanding and confidence.
• Monitor progress and adapt provision for best outcomes.
• Create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
