Job summary

KPI Education is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a specialist SEN school in North West London. You will support pupils with Autism and complex needs, deliver targeted interventions and work closely with teachers, therapists and senior leaders to raise attainment.

This full-time, long-term opportunity offers a therapeutic setting where learning, therapy and personalised support align to meet EHCP targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a specialist SEN setting supporting pupils with autism and complex needs.
• Ability to lead learning activities and interventions independently.
• Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning activities and targeted interventions.
• Lead small-group and whole-class sessions when required.
• Support planning and adaptation of activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of support.
• Support safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion throughout the school.
• Provide personal care and physical support where required.
