Zusammenfassung

Abingdon and Witney College is seeking a dedicated FEAST Learning Adviser to support students with Autism Spectrum Conditions across our campuses. You will collaborate with curriculum staff, families and external professionals to embed autism-informed approaches and promote independence.

The role focuses on mentoring, workload management, transition arrangements and quality assurance, starting November 2026, with a permanent contract and 37 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Sound knowledge of ASD & ADHD and their impact on learning and development.
• Recent specialist training in Autism or communication and interaction.
• Recent experience supporting young people with Autism, ideally at KS3 and above.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and influence practice.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist advice and support to teaching and support staff on effective strategies for learners with ASD & ADHD.
• Deliver one-to-one mentoring and tailored support to students.
• Lead and contribute to group activities supporting learner development with specialist teams.
