Job summary

Academics in Maidenhead is seeking an Autism Specialist Support Assistant to support children with complex autism and learning disabilities. This full-time, long-term role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.45pm, with an ASAP start. Candidates with experience in SEN settings are encouraged to apply.

You will work closely with on-site therapists and psychologists, shadowing sessions to gain practical SEN experience and develop your educational/therapeutic skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adults with Special Needs would be beneficial.
• A caring, patient approach is essential for supporting learners with autism.

Responsibilities

• Support children with autism and learning disabilities in classroom activities.
