Skipton Business Finance are hiring for an Auditor / Surveyor to join our friendly team in an audit and investigative role and help us identify actual and potential weaknesses in security.

What Will You Be Doing as an Auditor/Surveyor

Join SBF in an audit and investigative role to identify weaknesses in security and undertake surveys on new business with an analytical and commercial approach. You will protect the integrity of SBF investments, minimize bad debts, and optimize income through efficient survey work, streamlining client onboarding. Conduct audits across our SME portfolio, typically with funds out of £350k up to £10 million, including invoice discounting, factoring, chocs, and LedgerLite facilities.

Primary Duties

1. Carry out audits on various facility types to identify potential fraud/security issues.
2. Maintain appropriate audit frequencies.
3. Liaise swiftly with Relationship Managers and Directors regarding identified issues.
4. Conduct surveys on new business proposals and provide security recommendations.
