Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join our team. You will contribute to various projects, assessing building control and warranty applications, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting our building safety initiatives.

Assess building control and warranty applications for residential and mixed-use developments, negotiate with stakeholders, coordinate inspections, and support building inspectors with expert advice and complex assessments.

Candidate Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Building Regulations, building technology, and technical training
• Experience with structural defects, NHBC Standards, and site inspections is advantageous
• Relevant experience in building/construction sectors with understanding of building pathology
• Excellent communication skills, proactive approach, and full driving license

Qualifications

• Working towards or holding chartered membership (e.g., MCIOB, CABE)
• Construction-related qualifications such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent
